The Lancaster Farmland Trust
The Lancaster Farmland Trust was founded in 1988 by local citizens concerned about our unique Lancaster County heritage and dedicated to protecting agriculture from the growing pressures of development. Since 1988, The Trust has preserved 322 farms and over 20,175 acres of the richest agricultural soils in the country located here in the heart of Lancaster County.
Over the last few years, the Turkey Hill Country Classic, an annual bike race and run, has raised close to $39,000.00 for the Trust.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds from each purchase of our All Natural Recipe goes directly to The Trust. Hope you will join us in supporting farmland preservation. Next year's Country Classic will be May 1, 2010.
